Facilitator Kathryn Rafter this summer if she is in town. All agreed that it
would be helpful to our progress.
Cultural
Inventory
Discussion
regarding the collection of data from the cultural organizations regarding
number of classes, number of openings, etc. over the upcoming summer. This
would be a handy baseline data and could be incorporated into full page ads for
Memorial Day weekend, July 4th, and Labor Day week-end that would
outline all that we have to offer to encourage return trips by visitors. This
could be used as a handout or flyer for posting all over town. Funds could be
from the MCC grant and/or from organizations such as the PBG which would count
as match. Administrative Director of Tourism Bill Schneider will gather the
information and design ad/handout.
Administrative Director of
Tourism Bill Schneider announced that a one-day museum pass has been developed
incorporating PMPM, PAAM, and the Whydah as a promotional piece through the
tour busses, Cape Air, and others. Cost will be $12 which will allow one person
access to all 3 museums, a savings of $10 and provides a free shuttle ride to
the Monument.
