ICON & Charrette #1: General discussion about the proposed schedule and approach submitted by
ICON which includes scheduling Charrette #1 during the 1st week of
October. All agreed that, before we could schedule the Charrette, we – the
subcommittee and the task force – need to meet with ICON to share ideas, review
their preliminary thoughts, and discuss process. This is too important and it
needs to be done right.
Step 1: schedule conference call with subcommittee
and ICON
Step 2: schedule meetings, suggested dates:

for subcommittee
Step 3: and Friday, 9/29 with full MCC Adams Task
Force
This will probably bump the Charrette until the end
of October.
Timeline: Adams grant
goes through December 31, 2006, but County EDC grant [primary grantor of
Streetscape component] goes until May 2007 which allows more time for the
project with ICON. Keep in mind Provincetown’s Annual Town Meeting [April 2007] and the need to repair the streets,
thus we need to have direction by February 2007 prior to the closing of the
warrant.
